COOLING FANS

Fans are used to create an air movement in an office, working space or factory. The movement of air combined with normal human perspiration creates an evaporative cooling effect, making us feel a bit more comfortable.

The movement of air can be created in various different ways. Areas such as class rooms, offices and small workshops with low ceilings can easily be cooled with ceiling sweep fans. These fans create a down draft but offers a much smaller cooling zone below the fan.

The alternative method of cooling a bigger area like factories, workshops, churches and marquee tents is by using oscillating fans. The fans are offered as either pedestal standing or wall mounted. The oscillating part of the wall and pedestal fan is identical. The oscillating head can be adjusted from 90° oscillating to standstill with different diameter models available. Air movement can reach of up to 20m.

Exhaust Fans, mounted in the wall of factories are also used to exhaust hot and contaminated air. Well positioned exhaust air can also create a slight air movement across a working space, creating the same evaporative cooling effect, combined with a reduced internal temperature.
