FIRE SMOKE FANS

Fire smoke fans are specially designed for the use of extracting hot fire smoke from offices, warehouses and shopping malls in the event of a fire.

These fans undergo stringent tests before they can be certified to BSEN12101-3.

Our fans are supplied as long cased axial flow units, certified for either 300°C / 120min or 400°C / 120min and available in diameters from 400 to 2250mmØ with motors up to 132kW.

We offer a range of ancillaries to be used in conjunction with these fire smoke exhaust fans.

The carpark range of jet fans is offered either circular, oval for low profiling or centrifugal jet.

Pulse fans are used to ventilate car park areas either enclosed or underground in conjunction with cased axial models for extraction via service shafts or ducted systems to atmosphere. The jet fans can be offered as 2 speed, operating at low speed for CO ventilation and high speed in fire smoke mode.

Control panels and CFD modelling can be offered upon request.

A range of tunnel ventilation fans are also available upon request.

CFD

Full or partial computational fluid dynamic simulations can be offered for fire smoke / CO ventilation. Our scope includes the placement of jet fans and recommended exhaust and supply points to effectively ventilate underground or enclosed car park areas.
